Dave, not a club per se, but one of the most useful benefits of networking on Flickr has been getting hooked-up with a Mississauga-based bunch of friendly folk who like to organize walks.
Flickr has a feature called Groups where like-minded people share their shots. Common groups include by brand (eg Pentax), by local geography (eg Toronto), or by topic/style (eg B&W). If you were to do a little spelunking you would likely find a group specific to your area. No guarantees of course, but the Mississauga Flickr group includes everyone from P&S owners through working pros and everyone gets along fine--no snobbery, no exclusions. I don't go out on more than 20% of the walks, but I've learned *something* from most of the ones I attended.
