Subject: K-7 arrived to Israel

Hi!

Got it, charged the batteries, played a little. A question for you -
except letting camera get really hot inside (like live view for 5 mins
or shooting long video) is there any other way to see if camera sensor
is not flawed?

Leave it in the sun for half an hour, Where you are that should just about melt it's guts.

Otherwise - I am starting to enjoy it. It pairs well with black FA 43
ltd and in general feels more confident than K10D. I do dislike the
fact that they moved the buttons around so that instead of pressing
green button I keep pressing exposure compensation. Evidently some
learning curve will be in order.

This is one thing I am having some problem getting used to. I've finally trained myself to not hit the exposure comp button, now I just have to train my thumb to find the green button rather than the liveview button. It is, unfortunately, a very big operational change for someone who shoots mostly in manual exposure mode. I have found though that the K-7 seems accurate enough to shoot in automatic exposure in most situations.
