My wife Marlene and I were married in the early seventies. Some parts of our wedding were tacky, as were many things those days. (Remember polyester leisure suits?) The photographer was awful, and in the manner of the day, he used stupid maskes -- hearts, winecups, etcj.-- on some pics. I recently finished scanning and restoring all our photos. (I skipped the masked ones:-) I bought a new album to replace the tattered and torn original, and printed all the restored pics on archival paper. While the photos were poorly executed and the photographers attempts to be current were awful, we're still glad to have them -- 38 years later.

Bad taste is the provence of the young, and it has little to do with predicting success in marriage.

"Repulsed" is a strong word... I think it's cheesy and stupid, but if SHE likes it... Well she's getting what she wants; and more to the point what she paid for. And that's the job of the photographer: to give the
client what he or she is buying.

Bruce, my immediate reaction was - why don't I see the pointy ears?

Honestly, however, I feel repulsed by this kind of

processing. It is

good though that I married back in 1998 whereas my wedding

photos were

made on film.

Here is an example of some of what we are seeing in the wedding
world. Do you like it? How long would it take per photo to make
this kind of change?
