Just fyi, Imagenomics Portraiture can run batched. It has an auto- mask feature that locates skin tones, masks them and applies the smoothing algorithms to just the masked areas. You can grab example PS automation for some pretty fancy effects right off their site.

Not that *I'd* ever do such a thing.  :-)
