The 16-50 which took some weight when I dropped my camera bag a couple
weeks ago now doesn't zoom wider than about 20mm before it stops.
Clearly I busted something off and it's now gumming up the works.
Darn it all, that really bums me out.
Back into the Pentax service department again. Nuts!
On the bright side: I found (before I dropped it) that it focuses
flawlessly at all focal lengths with my friend's K20D. So... someday
when I upgrade I'll have a lens which I can just leave on AF even when
at 16mm. Or I can live without my K10D for a month by sending them
both in for calibration (shudder). Don't think I can live that long
without a camera in my hands.
