Being fit is way more important than being skinny.

I never did lose all the inches I gained after my shoulder injury some
18 months ago (I have no idea what my weight is, as I don't own a
scale).

However, my daily cycle commute is about 15 to 20 km each way, and I
make it a brisk ride.  I often ride longer on weekends.  From a
cardio-vascular point of view, I'm (if I might be immodest) in pretty
damn good shape (especially for my age).

I don't worry about my size, I just want to be fit and feeling good.
Sounds like you're already feeling good about your running - which is
the main thing!
