If you check the manual there really is no quick and easy way to set
manual WB and certainly several can't be saved as per the *ist D. I'll
stand by my claim that it's an unnecessarily complicated procedure,
it's not simply a case of becoming familiar.

It seems that you're not alone, the fact that they added a dedicated
file format button indicates what they deemed to be more important.
