True, complaints certainly shouldn't be dismissed. I do expect that  
firmware upgrades will provide significant improvements as time goes  
by. Yet, I have to say that based on what is admittedly still a  
fairly minimal amount of experience (around 300 exposures), I'd have  
to say that this camera outperforms the D by a considerable amount.  
But I agree that there are a lot of pixel peepers at dpreview, who  
tend to work themselves into a lather over minutiae.
