I can see some banding at ISO 1600 if I shoot the inside of the lens  
cap with a four second exposure wide open and then push the exposure  
up four stops in conversion. But I don't generally take pictures of  
the inside of the lens cap. I suppose you can produce banding with  
any digital camera if you try hard enough.
