I didn't make a focus comment, but I did read the threads until boredom  
set in.  One guy reported a problem with focus, and he may have a faulty  
camera.  Most of the rest was the usual rumour-mongering and  
hand-wringing.  There was no meat to the complaints about banding/noise at  
high ISO that I could see, and one very good technical analysis of the  
K10D's performance which concluded it was excellent.  Signal to noise  
ratio was about 1:400.
