You can say it a dozen more times if you like, it's still wrong. Canon chose to drop FD lens support as part of their marketing plan. Pentax has done the same thing in relation to K/M. The difference for the end user is that if you own a collection of FD lenses you are completely screwed, whereas if you wish to use K/M lenses, you have the option of using them.
