My experience in photographing the moon is very limited, but it would seem that your statement is rather broad. Depending on the lens used, ISO, and the distance between horizon or skylines and the camera, I'd think that there might be plenty of opportunities to have both the moon and the other elements in focus. In fact, I'm sure I've seen some ;-))
