Ken, that is what I paid --
It came with a starter set of ink that allowed me to print
quite a lot. I am planning on
doing color printing- though mainly for transfer sheets to
print on fabric now and then
and for my business cards and to make my calendar prototype.

I would like to make some serious bw prints on it if
possible though.

at least with the 6 separate cartridges the color ones one
at a time works. If I buy the
ink cartridges one at a time I can get $3.00 off on each at
my local Staples with their
recycling plan.

My 820 totally crapped out on me and I was mid project when
it died.
