I am planning on doing color printing- though mainly for transfer sheets to print on fabric now and then and for my business cards and to make my calendar prototype.
I would like to make some serious bw prints on it if possible though. at least with the 6 separate cartridges the color ones one at a time works. If I buy the ink cartridges one at a time I can get $3.00 off on each at my local Staples with their recycling plan. My 820 totally crapped out on me and I was mid project when it died. ann > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Ann Sanfedele" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: OT: new printer - Epson r220 -questions > > > > > now I have 6 ink cartridges - > > > > I'm not doing a lot of printing, but opinions about this > > beast and how it > > handles black and white would be appreciated before I go off > > and run out of > > ink experimenting. > > > > Someone was talking a while back about getting all gray > > scale cartridges - > > > > favorite papers for this printer as opposed to older ones? > > > > So far all I've used it for is a bit of text and making 20 > > transfer sheets for > > a t-shirt design job I had - those came out well. > > > > thanks > > > > ann > >
