Wal-Mart? The only incentive to stay they have is if no one else would hire you. Mass merchandisers mass merchandise everything including employees. Any position short of the store manager they figure can be replaced by the next person who walks in the door. The only reason the store manager can't be is he does the hiring.

Honestly Tom, that's not the Wal-Mart I work for. Keeping in mind that the work is retail sales, and consequently one will never get rich working for them, they aren't a bad company to work for. In many ways, Wal-mart is the best employer I have had in the 30 years I have been in the workforce. I'm leaving an industry that no longer gives me what I need to stay working in it, it wouldn't matter who was cutting my paycheque, it's just time to move on.
