The lst roadmap did have the 80-200 FA* replacement on it. It's the 50-135 f2.8 DA, which is a 75-200 equivalent.
No it isn't. The 50-135 is a totally different lens. Pentax just changed the priorities of what to manufacture when. Rumor has it that FA* replacement is being redesigned for increased AF performance (whatever that means).
