I has probably been discontinued, like other FA lenses. That doesn't 
mean that Pentax doesn't have some to ship, or may not make some more if 
there are sufficient orders. More might show up at B&H. This has been 
happening with other lenses.

The FA* 24 is apparently discontinued.
You might try calling Pentax. Don't bother e-mailing them. You will get 
a canned response saying "We don't know anything, but feel free to ask 
anytime."
