You seem to misinterpret my comments often. A 5D would be lovely, unfortunately like the majority of average earners my cash flow is limited and has more jobs to do than I can afford, so a 5D is a long way down the priority list. If however Pentax produced a body of consequence it would be a lot further up my priority list, I'm sure I'm not the only one here with these thoughts either.

I'm not made of money, but if I needed a 5D I'd buy one. "Needed" in this context means "It will potentially generate more income for me by enabling me to achieve the results I need for the work I'm doing." There is no other priority in my acquisition of new equipment.

If your camera equipment is not generating your income, that means buying it or any other photographic equipment is purely a hobby/ luxury/disposable income choice. At which point, why whinge about it? Buy what you like/can afford and enjoy it. Or, if you can't afford to buy anything new, enjoy what you have. Is it really necessary to complain and complain and complain about something as trivial as what memory card format a camera uses?
