No, I'm not crying. The istD, with its instant feedback convenience,
improved my photos a bit, so overall it has been a gain.

Now, probably, the ideal camera for me then would be something like
the Epson RD-1. Minus the price tag, of course--no way I'll pay $3000
for a six megapixel camera...
