Lenses are on thing; film bodies another; and digital bodies yet
another.

In the case of Pentax, the lenses run and run. Film bodies have
benefited from film improvements across the years. Digital bodies are
(to be) obsoleted by sensor improvements across the years. My
understanding from the safe distance (bargepole) I keep from them is
that the killer is noise, not pixelage; then there is the "- I shot
12,345,678,910 today. - I beat you, I shot 12,345,678,911" syndrom.
