Right. Larger pixels for the same overall pixel count.

The advantage of a full-frame sensor over APS-C is the same as 25mm film
over APS film. And the same as the advantage of 645 negatives over 35mm
negatives. And the same as the advantage of 4 x 5 LF over 67 MF.

Some people, even the otherwise knowledgeable former list-member Mike
Johnston, seem to think that the magic word "digital" somehow allows you
to avoid the basic laws of physics. It doesn't. Whether shooting film or
digital, the basic input is analog: An image projected on a flat
surface. Whether that flat surface is a piece of film or a digital
sensor has no affect on one fact: A larger area allows the capture of
more information.

There are obviously disadvantages of larger capture area - LF shooters
have had to work with the DOF limitations for years - but everything's a
trade-off in photography. That's another thing that hasn't changed with
digital.
