i didn't look up Cosina, but i did look up Pentax, Nikon, and Canon's market 
caps as of yesterday.

Pentax 52 b yen
Nikon 460 b yen
Canon 4937 b yen
market cap is a volatile number, but that's what it would take, in theory, 
to buy the entire company.

I don't have the figures but it wouldn't surprise me if Cosina had the 
edge in
both volume and definitely R&D these days. Herb may be able to enlighten 
us as
to their current net worth vs Pentax.
