What do like more about the DS than the D, then? Just curious ;-)
SD cards - easier to handle, smaller, just as fast. A little bit smaller, lighter ... nicer grip and fits my hands better. A bit faster on writes. Somewhat simpler controls.
I haven't owned a D. I considered buying one after I found I liked the DS so much, but I'll buy a second DS over a D so that I can use the same memory cards in both.
