That's like saying that any two cameras operate about the same.  It is
most like comparing the LX to the ZX-5n (build quality aside).  The LX
is manual focus, has different finders has a different feel, lenses of
that era feel different, etc.  Looking through the finders is
different, aspect ratio is different, etc.

The 645n(ii) is geared towards automation and competes in an
environment that is very progressive and competitive.  It is a great
system, but I strongly feel different than you that these are
basically the same.  I will grant you that they both have aperture
rings you can turn and both have shutter speed dials, but they have a
distinctly different style between them.
