As a developer I do not need to connect to the SL grid. By simply developing a 
viewer that is able to connect to SL I as a developer assume universal 
responsibility.

That is a responsibility and an uncalculable risk I as a developer or any other 
sane
person can not accept for 2 simple reasons:

a) I don't have control over (hidden) bugs and vulnerabilities in the code
b) I don't have control over any action of any user of my viewer

LL themselves disclaims any responsibility and warranty and it's not only 
unreasonable 
but impossible to shoulder such universal guilt on us developers.

As every viewer made after the commencement date of 30 April will fall under 
the TPV
and I as developer would be forced to accept these TPV terms there can only be 
one outcome of this: 

Discontinue 3rd party SL viewer development after 30 April
