We have had success with the Einscan Pro 2X for stone projectile points. I
have not tried it on bone. The scan resolution is excellent for the price
(comparable to Artec at 1/3 the cost). It does struggle a bit with dark
objects (i.e. black chert). The camera is not great for overlaying color
skins over the 3D model, but that's not a concern for our research.
