Hi everyone. Still on this thread, I´d would love some additional opinions
on two options mentioned earlier, specially those given by Thomas and
Miguel).
We are preparing a grant proposal that would cover the costs for scanners
in the price range of the Artec Space Spider. You both mentioned working
well with the Space Spider, but Thomas mentioned buying a Polyga S1 for
smaller specimens.
We are planning to use them on skulls, from dog size down to mice, more or
less. I was planning on the Artec only (I have seen very nice scans made
with it) and was not aware of the Polyga until going through this thread.
Considering that price within this range is not a problem (either we get
the grant or not!) would you recommend then buying these two for the size
range we are planning to need? I´ve seen in the Artec site a Micro model
but by itself it would be limiting. Anyone has experience with it?
Thanks in advance
Diego
