The WHOIS record includes:

    Registrar Abuse Contact Email: [email protected]
    Registrant Organization: Shopify Inc.
    Registrant Email: Select Request Email Form at 
https://domains.markmonitor.com/whois/shopify.com
    Tech Email: Select Request Email Form at 
https://domains.markmonitor.com/whois/shopify.com

There's a small chance those might work better.  You should also try the
abuse info from the WHOIS record for the IP address from which the
messages in question were sent.
