        It was surely a good idea to do it years ago, as you didn't have to
provide a credit card to get an account until 1999 or 2000.  The ebay
account has ones full name, address, history of dealing with ebay including
all User IDs, so I don't think that anyone could get away with transferring
ones account to another person.
