I have trouble with Rogers high speed from time to time - tech support seems to know nothing about Macs. One tech did however, suggest something that worked, I am trying to remember the sequence, should have written it down. Unplugging the modem, waiting a minute or so and plugging it in again was not working so...

We unplugged the modem, shut down the computer, restarted the computer and when startup was complete, then plugged in the modem once more. I think that was what worked.

Does any one have any ideas as to what might be going on? Or is it truly a
major problem with the modem that they sent her? Or in fact a problem with
then end? Which they are not saying anything about?

Well take care everyone,
