Thanks for your feedback on this matter.  Are you aware of any progress or
timeline for the LinuxVST native support?  i.e. Is this something that
would be available in a year's time?  Or are we likely to be waiting for
many years?

In addition, would we have a make rule that bundles the appropriate binary?
 Or would you suggest we compile the binary as part of the master build
process (I understand this can require linking against proprietary Vestige
libraries).

I ask these questions because from a licensing and usability perspective,
we may have some candidates that are ready now and could greatly benefit
the project immediately, while putting the ideal situation as a future
milestone.

Any an all thoughts (pragmatic and idealistic views welcome).
