I rotated the memory through different positions multiple times -- yet it always failed in the same slot. The new one said I had did not have a Dell approved upgrade in my memory. and did not have a license for the upgrade, so repair actions would not be applied. Attached is a pic of the boot time message. The bios setting for configuring the memory seems to be locked. (2nd picture). It also said something about me needing a 'vflash' to authorize a license for the memory upgrade (not really an upgrade, as the board arrived with 0 mem).
