No, I shouldn't have mentioned it. This laptops have a problem, and it's work-arounded by doing the masking and unmasking of interrupt 0x6E. The fix is not in the kernel yet, so I have the work-around enabled since one year ago.
This is a totally different problem: since one month ago, the computer restarts without showing anything. It just shuts-down (lights off, screen off, everything off), then it starts again with the boot process. I checked the journal and syslog, but I think there isn't anything there, but if you want me to give a look to any log, or boot with another parameter, etc., just tell me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2076296 Title: LG gram suddenly restarts itself Status in linux package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Ubuntu version: Kubuntu 24.04 LTS Kernel version: 6.8.0-39-generic Al packages updated to current. Since 1 or 2 months ago, the computer crashes, restarting suddenly. What happens is the power light goes off and everything shuts down, then it starts again with the LG gram logo. It would appear as a hardware problem, but I've had Windows 10 installed for a few weeks and it worked flawlessly. I had the XanMod kernel installed, so I thought the problem could be related with that, but I've now reinstalled cleanly Kubuntu 24.04 without any PPA related with drivers, and the problem is appearing again.
