I just want to make sure I understand everything going on here... There is a fix upstream that Diogo submitted, and you would like for it to make it into the Noble (24.04) kernel. That patch should fix the issue you are hitting. And with that patch, you should be able to remove the changes in the command line (acpu_mask...).
