The way I see it, I think you'd be better off indexing your vectors in an external database system and use docvalues to store just an id of a vector in that external system... @dweiss Thanks, that makes sense. I’m currently exploring a similar hybrid approach, so it may indeed be the most practical path forward within Lucene’s existing abstractions.
