ability to madvise/fadvise without resorting to native code would be awesome too. I don't know how it may translate to windows. but it seems like it does exactly what this PR wants to do: > POSIX_FADV_WILLNEED initiates a nonblocking read of the specified region into the page cache. The amount of data read may be decreased by the kernel depending on virtual memory load.
