   Hmm.  This logic already exists.  It is why we have "notable points" in the 
intersection method - these are supposed to be the points we check (on the 
plane) when the intersecting plane is identical to the current one.  I've 
verified that they are being correctly created.  The logic looks correct as 
well, at least at first glance.  Looking deeper.
