There is a place for jira/xxx branches in asf-git when one expects broad
collaboration on a complex and long-running issue, but for most liras it should
not be necessary, as you can take review feedback and do the changes yourself.
Also, I don't know if you were aware of the fact that GitHub PRs now allow
co-workers write access to the PR branch, so if you want to help add a larger
change that should now be possible right in the PR branch.
