Using forks is also a standard industry practice. Branch vs forks is a long debate, lets not get there. I prefer branches, but whoever prefers forks can choose to use them. I think everyone should try both to see what works with him. Given how careless you have been in the past (with pushing to wrong branch, generating commit message spam etc.), Noble, I think using forks will help you become more disciplined.
