Hello, I have an HP deskjet 920C that is currently connected via parallel port. Research said the hp backend which is needed for use with the hp-toolbox (which is my original goal, to get this tool running) does not work with parallel port printers, is this true or is there a workaround?
My system: SUSE Linux 10.0 Cups version 1.1.23 hplip versoin 0.9.4 Invoking /usr/lib/cups/backends/hp does only give nonesense, so I guess it is true, only USB connected printers work with the hp backend, right?
