By the way do you know if INSPIRE GeologyCore is meant to replace GeoSciML? I do not know anything about it; GeologyCore seems to have some commonality, but be more oriented towards environmental sciences (no surprise here as that is the mandate for INSPIRE), whereas GeoSciML seems focussed on hard rock geology.
