A Zoom call (or a similar platform) would make it easier to ask questions
directly, but ASF’s asynchronous approach has clear benefits: it aligns with
our reporting process, works across time zones, and leaves a record for review.
Written reviews can also surface issues that a call might overlook.
That said, podlings and mentors are welcome to hold a Zoom discussion if they
find it useful, either in addition to or as an alternative to this review. As
with the maturity model, it’s entirely optional.
