Hi, I’d like to clarify a few key points.
The quiz content is ASF material. It draws entirely from public ASF policies, Incubator documentation, and guidance that I and others have contributed to over time as part of our work within the ASF. Its purpose is to support IPMC members and improve podling oversight, a goal well within the scope of the Incubator’s mission. Like a wiki guide or dev@ post, it doesn’t require prior approval to exist. Feedback from IPMC members is always welcome. The badge, on the other hand, is a personal initiative. As I stated in my original message: "I’ll personally endorse and award a badge to anyone who completes the full course." It is not presented as an official ASF or IPMC recognition. I also want to correct the claim that no IPMC members were aware of this effort. These quizzes and training materials have been openly discussed on list over the past few months, and several members have participated or provided input. Here’s a simple principle: let’s encourage community-driven resources that aim to help.
