I started playing with this today.

Here is what it looked like before:

I think it looks cleaner. Colours, shadows and backgrounds can be changed of
course. Each menu item can be activated by cursor keys, by a specific key
(F, S and R, although you can't really see it in the above image) or by the
mouse too.

Should I continue converting the menus or is this something that's unlikely
to be included?
