Exactly my point.  Even though CDRecord is open-source and runs on
DOS, it relies on an ASPI interface or a SCSI drive to operate, and I
only know of OAK ASPI that can provide this interface for ATAPI
drives.  It would be REALLY nice if ASPI-emulation could be provided
with an open-source driver that can be freely distributed with
CDRecord.  I've used CDRecord myself and it works really nicely, the
only thing it really lacks is a nice user-friendly front-end.
