just stumbled upon this topic, have been wondering why signal wasnt
updating.
so can i just build the newest version of signal myself from the ports tree?
im not a fan of electron either and am not surprised that a version of
it is not supported but i have to agree with Miroslav that it makes it a
bit of a pain to use freebsd as a desktop
