Thanks, Dan, these are good points, and your first one is one of the reasons I changed the subject line on my prior reply. There is also something to be said for the limits of documentation. How many of us read *all* the documentation? Sometimes it is simply easier to try some characteristic strategies. The other point here is that not everyone uses every module, and I am sure that even some of the devs may forget some of the adjustments -- or menu driven ways -- to do some things. In two years I have never even loaded the iBar module, let alone used it. That is not to say that it is not useful or does not fit with how some people work, simply that it is part of the joy of E that it has so many options.
