if enlightenment_sys is setuid root, then it's not a permissions problem.

in e18 e supports systemd power management (suspend/shutdown etc.) so
enlightenment_sys is no longer used for this (and you can remove those actions
from it as an integrator). e17 doesn't have this so it's enlightenment_sys or
bust.

so if the option is available, enlightenmentsys is setuid and should work.
double check the owner and permissions of this binary.

other than that it'll be the sysactions.conf which is meant for integration. if
you have sudo in there... you may be in trouble as sudo may ask for a password
- it needs/wants a tty. and that may simply cause it to utterly fail. there is
no need for sudo there. if enlightenment_sys is already setuid root... anything
it runs there is as root already.

so look at sysactions.conf - ensure it runs the same commands that "work" for
your system.. minus any su/sudo.

WatchGuard Dimension instantly turns raw network data into actionable
security intelligence. It gives you real-time visual feedback on key
security issues and trends. Skip the complicated setup - simply import
