I've come to the conclusion it is a permissions issue with however E17 is launching the suspend command.
When I run the command listed in my sysactions.conf for suspend with sudo the system suspends/unsuspends just fine: sudo /etc/acpi/sleep.sh force But when I select "suspend" from the power menu, the system never changes it's notification light to show that it has gone into suspend mode - so it isn't finishing properly. Any ideas what LXDE might be doing different to let me normal user suspend the system fully?
