Patch Set 7: I am truly sorry... but I don't understand. You don't want to send user/password to a server that its fingerprint was not approved by the user. This was your original argument. So you add some dialog/service for user to approve the fingerprint. Now you execute the query using ssh, ignoring the approved fingerprint, accepting any new fingerprint that may be accepted at this stage and send the credentials to this unknown host. The correct sequence is: 1. Accept a list of IP address user and password from user. 2. Connect to servers without authentication, acquire fingerprint. 3. Display fingerprint of hosts within the list, ask the user to approve. 4. Connect to each server validating the approved fingerprint, authenticate and execute whatever command you like. -- To view, visit http://gerrit.ovirt.org/7584 To unsubscribe, visit http://gerrit.ovirt.org/settings Gerrit-MessageType: comment Gerrit-Change-Id: Ic69a9a48bf227c8fa805c8aa9c4f08fa36ea9425 Gerrit-PatchSet: 7 Gerrit-Project: ovirt-engine Gerrit-Branch: master Gerrit-Owner: Dhandapani Gopal <dgo...@redhat.com> Gerrit-Reviewer: Alon Bar-Lev <alo...@redhat.com> Gerrit-Reviewer: Dhandapani Gopal <dgo...@redhat.com> Gerrit-Reviewer: Kanagaraj M <kmayi...@redhat.com> Gerrit-Reviewer: Michael Kublin <mkub...@redhat.com> Gerrit-Reviewer: Omer Frenkel <ofren...@redhat.com> Gerrit-Reviewer: Selvasundaram <sesub...@redhat.com> Gerrit-Reviewer: Shireesh Anjal <san...@redhat.com> Gerrit-Reviewer: oVirt Jenkins CI Server _______________________________________________ Engine-patches mailing list Engine-patches@ovirt.org http://lists.ovirt.org/mailman/listinfo/engine-patches
