Thanks, but I had no intention of "hacking" battery packs. I just know that
I've heard that camcorder batteries pack in quite a few amp-hours for their
size and was hoping that some ingenious person had already produced a
critter to deal with this.
BTW, it's a BIG shame that the VST ThinPack battery was only produced for
the PB 1xx series. VST told me that it is rated for FIVE amp-hours. So, a
similar battery that would fit under a Duo would probably be 3x a TypeIII --
probably enough for a cross-country flight even after the battery ages some.
Ultimately, this is going to be a big pain if we all eventually end up
having to get rid of perfectly good Duos for want of decent batteries. :-(
